KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A deer was hit on the west side of Kosciusko Saturday night about 7 o’clock. Police were called because the deer was on Hwy. 12 in front of Crestview Church and was still walking around in the roadway. The outcome of the call was unclear from scanner traffic.

Crowd and Music Complaints

Police were called to Glendale Apartments both Friday and Saturday nights. Friday’s call was about a crowd gathered in the parking lot. The caller told police she believed the people had guns. Police did not report back any trouble.

The call Saturday night about 7, was for loud music at the same address.

A few minor wrecks with no injuries were reported over the weekend. One was Friday on Hwy. 35 south. Another was Saturday afternoon when two cars hit at Hwy. 12 and North Natchez St.

A wreck was reported to Attala County deputies Sunday morning on Attala Rd. 4126. Though it was originally called in as a rollover with entrapment, it turned out that the car ended up sideways in a ditch. No one was hurt.
