Disturbance at Glendale Apartments Escalates

KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A situation at Glendale Apartments escalated Saturday night and several police officers and Attala County deputies had to respond.

It began as a disturbance call in the Glendale parking lot about 6:45 p.m. The caller reported a person in a red Dodge Charger was responsible for the incident. No specifics were discussed over police radio. Before police could respond the Charger took off and the caller followed.

It was unclear if police were able to catch up to the Charger.

About 7:15 police were asked to go to Fenwick St. for a disturbance involving weapons. Attala County deputies were dispatched as backup.

A short time later police called in that the person with a weapon had left.
