Ethel High School Attends BETA Convention

This past week, Ethel Beta Club participated in the annual Beta Club State Convention in Biloxi, Mississippi. Ethel Beta club had multiple submissions in various categories including: Academic Testing, Performing Arts: Solo, Duo, Trio, Performing Arts: Small Group, Quilling, Pottery, Photography, and Digital Portfolio. In the performing arts category, Ethel Beta Club had a trio perform the song “Take On Me” by A-ha and a small singing group perform songs from “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” by Mike Compton. The club placed in three competitions, qualifying  them for  the National Beta Convention in Orlando, Florida this summer. The individual winners are: Jada Lambert, who placed 5th in Division II Quilling and Jodie Black, who placed 2nd in Division I Pottery. The group winners are: Addison Stubbs, Riley Beauchamp, Sadie Wood, and Haliegh Hutchison who placed 2nd in Digital Portfolio. Ethel Beta Club thanks all of its Beta members for their hard work and for allowing us to attend the National Beta Convention!
