ETHEL, Miss.–A grass fire was reported on Hwy. 12 east near Ethel just before 1 p.m. Saturday, near the Dollar General.
Once firefighters got to the scene they reported there were actually two separate fires.
Just after 1 firefighters asked for deputies to help with traffic control along Hwy. 12, as they fought the fires.
The fires were reported contained at about 1:40 p.m. Fire engines started to leave the scene just before 2.
