The Holmes Community College Bulldogs remain undefeated at 5-0 after surprising top 10 Jones College Bobcats 35-22. The Bulldogs were up 14-7 after the opening quarter and were leading by 11 points at halftime, 28-17.
The Bulldogs added another touchdown in the third quarter while the Bobcats would add a safety and a field goal giving the Bulldogs a 13 point lead, 35-22 at the end of the quarter.
No additional points would be scored in the final quarter.
E.J. Segrest was named the Sullivan’s Drugs and Gifts player of the game.
Our next broadcast of Holmes Community College Bulldogs football on Breezy 101 will be October 10th when The Bulldogs will host Mississippi Delta Community College in Goodman.
Kickoff is set for 6:30pm with the pregame show on the air at 6:00pm.
