McAdams Falls to Biggersville in State 1-A State Championship

The McAdams High School Bulldogs played for the State 1-A Basketball Championship tonight at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson playing the Lions of Biggersville High School. The Bulldogs started hot in the opening quarter with a 2 point lead going into the 2nd quarter but were trailing by 10 points at halftime, 34-24. The Bulldogs trimmed the lead to 7 points going into the final quarter and tied the Lions late in the final minute of the game but we unable to pull away from the Lions losing by 4 points, 45-41. The Bulldogs finish the season as the runner up to the state 1-A Championship title with a 25-7 overall season record. Boswell Media Sports congratulates all the players and coaching staff for another outstanding year of High School basketball.

    It was a close hard loss but you should be so proud to have represented our county in State playoffs!! Congrats on your accomplishments!!
