Minor Two Car Wreck, Expectant Mother Involved

SALLIS, Miss.–A two-car wreck where a car with an expectant mother driving was hit, was reported Friday night in front of the Dollar General on Hwy. 12 in Sallis.

The call came in to dispatch at about 8:15.

Firefighters and medics were advised that the pregnant woman’s car was hit from the rear and she had hit her stomach on the wheel.

Deputies called in and said the wreck was minor, but that the expectant mother still wanted to be checked out by medics.
