KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A 14-year-old girl was reported missing early Friday evening. By 9:30 p.m. she was reported found by her father. But, he was having further trouble with her that led him to call police.
Attala County deputies were dispatched to Hwy. 12 just east of Kosciusko, where the girl’s father was having trouble getting her to go into the house.
He reported that she had a knife but wasn’t sure if she still had it. Medics were also called out to check her out. The exact reason was unclear from police radio communications.
Shortly after deputies arrived they reported back that the girl would stay with her grandmother.

June 17, 2024 at 12:26 PMThere is so much going on with teenagers these days. Times have changed since I raised one but the outside influences are HORRIBLE!! It’s more important now more than any generation before my age to spend QUALITY time with your kids so they feel safe to tell you ANYTHING and not be afraid you will be mad. They need to know their parents or parent is their safe zone no matter what!!
