KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–Several traffic issues were reported near and around downtown Kosciusko around and just after the end of family night activities Friday. Some may have been unrelated to the event itself.
Police handled some traffic issues around Jefferson St. One issue was that several cars had blocked traffic at Jefferson and Natchez streets. Those cars were moved.
Shortly after 9 p.m. at man was reported darting in and out of traffic with his shirt in his hand on Love Rd. near Huntington St.
After 10 p.m. a car was reported in the ditch along Warrior Trail. The people who ran off in the ditch were able to get it out without it being towed.
Despite the unusual number of people downtown, there were relatively few issues, save the ones mentioned above.
