McADAMS, Miss.–A woman was reported shot twice in the McAdams area Friday night about 9:30.
A 911 call came in saying a person was being rushed to the hospital in a private vehicle after being shot in the arm and the back.
Deputies went to the emergency room at Baptist Attala.
Kosciusko Police also went to the hospital and found that blue Tahoe in which the person was being transported stopped with the doors wide open. The person had apparently been taken in through the front entrance of the hospital.
A wreck was also reported near Bunker Hill on Hwy. 12. The Tahoe transporting the shooting victim may have been involved in that wreck. The other vehicle was still sitting there at the wreck scene. Deputies reported that that car had “gunshots in it”. That was a Hyundai Sonata.
Deputies later went to the intersection of Hwy. 429 and Hwy. 12. It wasn’t clear if that may have been where the shooting happened.
