KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–Police were out before daylight at Kosciusko City Cemetery Saturday morning when a car was spotted in the cemetery at the end of Victoria Ln.

The call was just before 6 a.m. When the first police officer arrived he reported seeing a woman run, but that person was not found. What police did find was a black 2012 Dodge Charger in the cemetery.

Officers ran the tag and discovered it belonged to a woman from McCool.

One officer reported that he could not determine whether the car got stuck or they did it on purpose, but some of the land in the cemetery was rutted up. He called for a wrecker and the car was removed from the cemetery.

Officers left about 6:20 a.m.
