CARMACK, Miss.–A tree was reported on fire and blocking the road north of the Carmack Fish House Saturday night, shortly before 10:30.
The woman who called about the tree said she had hit it and was able to move her car off of it.
Carroll County deputies also responded to the scene.
At the same time, another tree was reported down on Hwy. 12 west. The tree was reported to be blocking the road near the entrance to the Kosciusko airport.
Another tree was reported down on Hwy. 35 south near Lawrence Grocery.
A tree was also reported down on Hwy. 43 north near Shady Grove Church, blocking the entire road.
A tree was also reported blocking Hwy. 19, south of Kosciusko.
A tree was also reported down accross the Natchez Trace, three miles south of Kosciusko.
At that point, resources were stretched thin and crews worked hard to get through each situation.
