KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A person wanted by the Mississippi Dept. of Corrections was caught Friday night in Kosciusko.
On a traffic stop about 8 p.m., a Kosciusko Police officer had a tag and license run through the computer. That check identified the person as David Ingram of Goza St. in Grenada. The dispatcher told the officer that the man did have a warrant with Corrections and the information advised the officer to use caution.
Though another officer headed to help out, Ingram was put in cuffs without any trouble.
The radio communication did not indicate what the warrant was for.
Police and Corrections had a phone call to arrange getting Ingram to Corrections’ custody.
