KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–If you saw smoke north of Kosciusko Saturday afternoon, it was likely the woods fire that burned about 3:40 p.m. on the east side of Hwy. 35 north, just south of Sanders Rd.
Several fire trucks were dispatched to the fire and once they got there they called firefighters from the Forestry Commission for assistance.
After about two hours Attala fire firefighters turned it over to Forestry.
