KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–With very little rain in the past few weeks dry conditions have made it easy for fires to start and spread. Saturday morning just before 10 a woods fire was called in near Sallis.
The fire was on Attala Rd. 4121, and the caller said they believed a structure was in danger.
Once firefighters arrived they were able to get the fire contained without any structures catching up.
Most of the firefighters cleared the scene and left by 10:30.
