Whippets lose a close one

The Whippets travel to Corinth to face off against the Warriors for game one play off action. The whippets and Warriors were scoreless in the first inning. The Whippets were the first to put points on the board in the top of the second with two runs on three hits making the score (2-0). The Warriors were scoreless in the bottom off the second. The Whippets were scoreless in the top of the third on three hits and no one left on base. The Warriors went three up and three down with the score still being (2-0). The Whippets went three up and three down in the top of the fourth (2-0). The Warriors first points came in the bottom of the fourth with one run off of three hits (2-1). The Whippets gain two runs on two hits in the top of the fifth making the score (4-1). The Warriors went three up and three down in the bottom of the fifth (4-1). The Whippets and Warriors were scoreless in the Sixth inning. The Whippets was scoreless in the seventh inning (4-1). The Warriors gain four runs on two hits giving them the victory and comeback with the score being (4-5). The Autumn Ridge player of the game is Micah Parker, congratulations Micah.
