The Holmes Community College Bulldogs played host to the East Mississippi Community College Lions from Scooba during homecoming day but fall short to the Lions by 30 points, 45-15. Holmes trailed the Lions 35-9 at halftime after a 30 minute lightning delay in the second quarter that eliminated the homecoming halftime show. The remainder of the game was played in heavy rain at Goodman. Holmes added a touchdown late in the 3rd quarter while the Lions scored 10 points in the 3rd and 7 points in the 4th to win the game 51-15. The Holmes Bulldogs concluded the regular season tonight with a 8-2 season record.
