If you’re out walking in Carthage, better get home before the clock strikes 11. The city has a new pedestrian curfew in effect. Mayor Mary Ann Vivians says it’s an effort to reduce crime in the late night hours and promote safety. Anyone who’s spotted walking between 11 pm and 5 am could be stopped by a police officer.
