In community college action, the Holmes Bulldogs celebrated their homecoming and hosted the Mississippi Delta Trojans Saturday afternoon.  Both teams were 3-4 coming into today’s contest.

The Bulldogs score first, and the first quarter ends 7-0.  After mostly defensive action on both teams, both teams score, making the halftime score 14-7.  Early in the third quarter, the Trojans score, tying the game at 14-14.  The Bulldogs come right back, making it 21-14 and looking like the beginnings of a shoot out.  But the Bulldogs quickly score twice more, 34-14 at the end of the third.  After an evenly matched fourth quarter, the score remained 34-14 for the final.  Reggie Hayes was named the player of the game.
