An abandoned home on Attala Rd. 5213 was destroyed in a fire on Saturday April 20, 2024.
Attala County Fire Department along with Ethel, Zama, and Providence Volunteers responded to the call and found the home fully engulfed in flames.
Attala County Fire Department Chief Tim Cox says a lightning strike may be to blame.
No one was injured in the incident. The home was a total loss.
