One man is behind bars on felony drug charges after an arrest in Attala County.
Sheriff Tim Nail tells Breezy News that Randy Hansford from the Four Corners Community was arrested after a safety check point was set up in Attala County on Wednesday the 24th.
The arrest took place after Hansford was stopped on Attala Road 5216 by Deputy Scott Chunn and Chief Deputy Shaw.
He was charged with for suspended drivers license, felony possession of a controlled substance x2 (methamphetamine and heroine),along with Poss. Of drug paraphernalia.
Hansford is currently being help in the Leake County Correctional Facility. Bond has been set at $10,000.
