Are you ready to hit the reset button on your library debt and open the door to free movies/television series, free high speed internet, free books and e-books, free audiobooks, free comic books, free music, free genealogy information, and free entertaining programming for your entire family? If so, your local library has a deal for you.

Mid-Mississippi Regional Library System (MMRLS) is excited to announce Fine Forgiveness Week at your local MMRLS branch location during National Library Week April 8– April 13.

During this six day event, come into your library to enjoy the free programs, and have your overdue fines forgiven. All you have to do is return any overdue library items (still in good condition) that you may have to your local MMRLS branch location. You may also visit your local library and ask your librarian to remove all overdue fines attached to your library card. All overdue fines will be forgiven and you can get back to enjoying all the perks your local library has to offer to you and your family.

“The Mid-Mississippi Regional Library System is a place that has something for everyone,” said MMRLS Director, Josh Haidet. “We hope this will encourage those who haven’t visited us in a while to come back and see what we have to offer.”

We invite you to join us during National Library Week and enjoy the fun programming that will be going on, see what the library has to offer to you, and fellowship with people from all around your community. For details on National Library Week programming and Fine Forgiveness Week, please visit or call your local MMRLS branch library, or visit our website at www.mmrls.lib.ms.us.
