According to On3.com, Mississsippi State offensive lineman, and Attala County native, Percy Lewis has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.
The website did not give an indication on where Lewis is expected to land.
Lewis, a graduate of McAdams High School, spent two years at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College before transferring to Mississippi State.
He was rated the No. 2 junior college prospect in the country when he signed to play for MSU.
He saw limited playing time in 2022, but started the Bulldogs final seven games of the 2023 season.
It should be noted that entering the transfer portal doesn’t mean that Lewis will indeed transfer. He would be allowed to stay at Mississippi State if both parties agree.
Mississippi State OT Percy Lewis is in the transfer portal, @On3sports has learned.
The grad transfer has played in 25 career games with eight starts.https://t.co/Gm6AawIHSo pic.twitter.com/i6wR11JFld
