The Attala County School District (ACSD) is proud to announce that it has been awarded an “A” ranking from the Mississippi Department of Education for the second consecutive year. This achievement reflects the district’s commitment to excellence, dedication from educators, and the hard work of its students.
In addition to the district-wide “A” ranking, several schools within the district have received individual recognition for their outstanding performance:
- Ethel Attendance Center– A
- Greenlee Elementary School– A
- Long Creek Elementary School– A
- McAdams Attendance Center– B
Superintendent Kyle Hammond expressed his gratitude to all who contributed to this accomplishment. “I want to thank our teachers, staff, students, and parents for their dedication and hard work in making this achievement possible,” said Hammond. “This success reflects the collaborative effort of our entire community and embodies our motto, ‘Committed to Excellence.’ We are dedicated to continuing this momentum and maintaining our high standards. The district remains focused on its mission of providing an exceptional learning environment for all students.
