The Attala County Soil and Water Conservation District would like to invite the public to attend its annual Conservation Awards Banquet.
The banquet will be held Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 6:30 p.m. at Holmes Community College – Attala Center on West Jefferson Street in Kosciusko.
This year’s guest speaker will be William McKinley, Wildlife Biologist with the MS Department Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks.
The banquet is held each year to award landowners for their efforts in implementing conservation practices and projects throughout the year.
Tickets for the event are $15 each and may be purchased from the Soil and Water Conservation District located at 502 Veterans Memorial Drive in the USDA Service Center.
Tickets may also be purchased from any of the Soil and Water Conservation District Commissioners or Deputy Commissioners.
