The Attala Justice Coalition hosted its 2nd annual United We Stand event on Saturday, September 14, at Northside Park.
The family-friendly day featured face painting, refreshments, basketball, and more activities along with discussions on mental health awareness and voter registration.
Kosciusko Police Chief Greg Collins and other officers participated, playing with children at the event.
A coalition representative told Breezy News the organization aims to make a positive impact in the community.
The group meets every Thursday at 6 p.m. at the CMC building on Tipton Street, and the meetings are open to the public.
