Another poultry flock in Mississippi has been destroyed after testing positive for bird flu. This time, it’s in Noxubee County, where the Mississippi Department of Agriculture says the infected chickens were at a commercial breeder’s farm. Bird flu, officially known as highly pathogenic avian influenza, had been detected earlier in poultry flocks in Greene and Copiah counties.
