ETHEL, Miss.–You often hear that hitting a deer, or trying to dodge it, can be dangerous to more than just your car. A person driving a Chevy Equinox may have learned that Saturday morning when they hit a deer on Hwy. 12 east, near Greenlee School, according to scanner traffic.
When Ethel volunteer firefighters were called out at 4:42 a.m., they were advised that the person who hit the deer had scrapes and cuts on their hands and face. The person who called also said they may have had a head injury.
It wasn’t clear if the Equinox actually made contact with the deer.
