A Carmack man is behind bars today for shooting at cars from his front yard.
Sheriff Tim Nail said 36-year-old Keith Cummings was arrested and charged with two counts of shooting into a motor vehicle. The shooting happened Tuesday night around 9:30 at Cummings’ home on Attala Road 3210.
According to Nail, Cummings opened fire on two vehicles that pulled into his driveway. One was shot in the driver’s side door and the other in the windshield.
Deputies took Cummings into custody just before midnight.
He was taken to the Leake County Jail.
