The ACSD responded to Hughes St. in Ethel to take a report on property damage at 3:17 p.m.  Cows were once again reported in the roadway near McCool on Hwy 12 East at 4:15 p.m.  The owner was quickly located and the incident was cleared.  The ACFD responded to Hwy 19 South on a report of a tree on a powerline at 9:31 p.m. and was cleared a short time later.  KPD answered one more Christmas Eve call at 9:31 p.m. when they responded to Glendale Apartments on a report of a disturbance.  Units cleared the scene a short time later.

KPD got things started early on Christmas Morning when they responded to Allen St. for a report of property damage at 1:51 a.m.  All was quiet until KPD responded to Westwood Apartments to investigate an assault around 10 a.m.  An ambulance was requested on scene to check out the victim and no further information was reported.  KPD then responded to West Jefferson St. at 2:50 p.m. to investigate a domestic disturbance and cleared the scene a short time later with no further incident.

The ACSD responded to Hannah Heights in Ethel at 5:26 p.m. on a report of shots fired.  No further shots were heard or located after deputies arrived on scene.  ACSD then responded to a car vs. deer collision with no injuries at 5:39 p.m. on Hwy 35 South and MHP was notified a short time later.  The KPD responded to Campbell’s Motel on a noise complaint at 9:30 p.m. and cleared the call a short time later.  Christmas Day came to an end, but not before another MVA was reported with no injuries on Hwy 35 South.  ACSD responded and MHP was notified.
