Crews to finish repaving several streets in Kosciusko

Construction crews will begin work to finish resurfacing streets throughout Kosciusko this week.

Kosciusko Mayor Tim Kyle said crews will begin work today or Friday, weather permitting, on E Adams Street.

Additionally, the new road into the soccer fields at Hugh Ellard Park off of Hwy 43 S will be completely paved.

Other streets set to be paved include:

Washington Street
Madison Street
Pilsudsky Street
Love Street
Peachtree Street
E South Street
Highland Drive
Goodman Street

    So, just continue to ignore the pleas to repair Gilliand St.?????…….Wow….???? but repair the soccor field road which is fairly newly built… priorities, huh?

    Burdine road is horrible. On end of the road is in the city the other end is in the county. Can y’all please work together and get something done about this road. We buy expensive car tags and pay taxes too.

    For Pilsudsky Street, I can only a**ume they mean the little section from Madison to North Jackson behind the fire station. The rest of Plisudsky (in front of the old depot) is marked “Road Closed to Thru Traffic” and only services a private business. Taxpayers should not have to support that.
