Wendy Hood has been charged with two counts of child neglect following an incident on Friday, Oct. 4, when two young children wandered away from Wee Kids Daycare on Hwy 35 North.
The children were safely removed from the highway before any harm occurred.
Hood, who owns the daycare center, turned herself in to the Kosciusko Police Department on Tuesday and is now out on bond.

February 2, 2025 at 1:38 PMI knew Wendy hood I used to go to her daycare sometimes she was nice but other times she was kinda mean.qhen I heard that she got arrested for accidently letting two 4 year Olds out in the street I was shocked.the way I see it is that she got what was coming.my dad and his mom used to work there and she cheated them out of a lot of money that they deserved. She also dragged my cousin by her ear.one of the other people that worked there said I couldn’t even hug my brother.when I heard that see was out on bond I was happy for her.
