Deputies in Attala Respond to Multiple Disturbances on Sunday

Attala County Deputies were called to multiple disturbances on Sunday, Feb. 16, including a report of gunfire.

At 9:19 a.m., deputies responded to Hwy 19 near the Williamsville area after multiple reports of a man and woman arguing outside a vehicle. One caller stated that the woman pulled a weapon out and fired shots into the air. Deputies searched the area, including several side roads, but were unable to locate the vehicle or either of the individuals involved in the incident.

Later in the day, just after 4:15 p.m., deputies were called to a residence on Attala Rd. 1010/King Rd., where an argument had been going on all day between two men and a woman. The caller requested that the woman be removed from the property.

Deputies were asked to remove a trespasser from a residence on Attala Rd. 2247/ Old Trace Rd. at just before 8 p.m. The trespasser was gone when deputies arrived.

At 8:49 p.m., someone at Hannah Heights Apartments in Ethel asked Attala Deputies to remove a female from the property. The woman was gone when deputies arrived.
