District Attorney Adam Hopper Signs Proclamation to Raise Awareness for Domestic Violence Prevention

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Adam Hopper, District Attorney for the 5th Circuit Court District, signed a proclamation today to raise awareness of the issue.

Alyssa Olive with the District Attorney’s Office says the proclamation is aimed at educating the public and encouraging action against abuse. Olive also emphasized the importance of reporting domestic violence, whether as a victim or witness.

The district attorney’s office is located on the second floor of the Attala County Courthouse and has resources available to victims of domestic violence.
