It’s Dixie National Week on the state fairgrounds in Jackson.
The rodeo begins Friday night, and Agriculture Commissioner Andy Gibson says they’re already seeing record-setting ticket sales again this year.
“There’s more people who bought tickets at this point than in the history of the Dixie National, and it’s appropriate because this is the 60th anniversary, and so the vision people had 60 years ago has come to fruition in a big kind of way,” said Gibson.
Gibson says this marks four years in a row for record ticket sales for the rodeo.
