At 11:30 pm on Wednesday night Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, The Mississippi Highway Patrol. McCool Volunteers along with Attala Fire Station One responded to a report of a two vehicle MVA. The accident took place onhighway1 12 east near McCool. The caller said the vehicle hit a tree that fell in the highway.
Units arrived on scene and found that east and west bond traffic had struck the tree in the road.
MedStat transported one female patient to a local hospital for medical treatment. The extent of their injury is not known at this time.
