Early Morning House Fire Destroys Home


At 4:27 am Kosciusko Police, MedStat EMS along with City Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a house fire on Pullen Street.

Emergency Personnel arrived on scene to find the home fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters started a defensive attack to contain the blaze and make sure the fire did not spread to any adjacent structures.

Captain Jake Cummins with the Kosciusko Fire Department tells Breezy News that the home owner was able to escape from the home without injury before firefighters arrived.

Cummins said the call came in at 4:27 am, Firefighters arrived on scene at 4:32 and had the flames extinguished at 5:02 am. All fire personnel cleared the scene at 7:13 am.

There has bee no word on the cause of the fire but it is under investigation by the Kosciusko Fire Department.
