At 7:41 am Attala Deputies, MDOT along with Attala Fire were called to a report of a tree in the road. The caller said it was located on highway 440 approximately 4 miles from highway 35 north.
At 7:52 am Attala Deputies along With Attala Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a one vehicle auto accident on highway 14 east. No injuries were reported.
At 10:35 am Kosciusko Police were called to 3rd Avenue for a report of a black bull in the area.
At 11:56 am Attala Deputies, MDOT along with Attala Fire were called to a report of a tree in the road. The caller said it was located on highway 12 west near the County Club.
At 12:19 pm Attala Deputies, The Mississippi Highway Patrol were called to a 12 east 1/2 past the 411 intersection.for a report of a one vehicle auto accident. No injuries were reported.
At 12:57 pm Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, Sallis Volunteers along With Attala Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a structure fire on Simmons Street in Sallis. The caller said the home was fully engulfed in flames. MedStat was dispatches to be on standby in case medical services were needed. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and found the structure on the ground. They were also informed that it was a controlled burn.
At 8:29 pm Emergency Management Director Danny Townsend reported a one vehicle MVA on 43 south just outside the city limits. He said the driver was transported to Baptist-Attala by private vehicle.
At 8:38 pm Attala Deputies were called to Attala Road 3024, also known as Springdale Road, for a report of a tree in the roadway.
