At 11:15 pm (Friday) Kosciusko Police, MedStat EMS along with City Fire responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on highway 12 east near fair propane. The caller said a car and a motorcycle collided. One patient was transported to Baptist-Attala for medical attention.
At 2:02 pm Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS along with Attala Fire and Sallis Volunteers responded to a report of a one vehicle MVA on Attala Road 4167, also known as Barber Road.
At 2:45 pm Kosciusko Police were called to Hickory Drive for a report of a tree down. Police arrived on scene and called for Water and Light to be dispatched to the location for some downed power line. The Kosciusko Street Department was called to assist.
At 3:05 pm Kosciusko Police were called to West North Street for a report of a downed tree. The caller said it was behind where Pops Produce used to be. Units were unable to locate a tree that was down but found a utility line down on Maple Street.
At 4:47 pm Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, McCool Volunteers along with Attala Fire and Rescue responded to a report of an ATV accident on Attala Road 5240. The patient was transported by POV (private owned vehicle) for medical treatment. The extent of their injury is not known.
