Emergency Dispatches: February 7, 2019


At 6:23 am Kosciusko Police were called to Adams storage on Veterans Memorial Drive for a report of a B&E in progress. The caller said a white male was in his unit and was attempting to leave. He said there was a white female in the vehicle passed out. When officers arrived the truck had fled the scene. The caller was unable to get a license plate number. The truck was described as an older model silver Chevrolet pickup.

At 4:03 pm Attala Fire Central was dispatched to Attala Road 5047 for a report of a woods fire.

At 8:50 pm Attala Deputies and Kosciusko Police were notified of a hit and run auto accident near Pee Wees store in McCool. The caller said they were following the truck and were heading toward Kosciusko. The caller soon called dispatch and said they lost the truck but had the tag number of the Georgia plate. The vehicle was reported as a white pickup but the the tag came back registered to a 2004 Ford. No injuries were reported.
