At 7:08 am Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, Ethel Volunteers along with Attala Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a one vehicle MVA on the Natchez Trace near Cheeks Sod Farm near mile marker 165. The caller said one lane of traffic was blocked. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and notified medical responders that there were no injuries that the vehicle had hit a deer.
At 10:33 Attala Deputies and Attala Fire were dispatched to a residence on Attala Road 1156 for a report of a house fire. The caller said their bedroom was on fire. All occupants were out of the home at the time of the call.
