At 12:00 pm Attala Deputies worked an accident on Highway 429 at the water tower in Sallis for an MVA. No injuries were reported.

At 7:16 pm Kosciusko Police and City Fire responded to 200 block of Gallaway Drive for a report of smoke in a residence. After arriving on scene firefighters noted that no smoke was seen from the exterior of the home. Captain Hayes with the Kosciusko Fire Department told Breezy News that after a short investigation they found that the fan had shorted on the heating unit causing the smoke in the home. No injuries were reported. All units cleared at 7:45 pm.
