Emergency Dispatches: January 24, 2019

At 7:39 am Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, The Mississippi Highway Patrol, Sallis Volunteers along with Attala Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a two vehicle MVA. The caller said it was located on highway 12 west near Attala Road 4121.Emergency personnel arrived on scene and notified responding units that one lane of traffic was blocked. No injures were reported.

At 10:35 am Kosciusko Police were called to highway 35 north past Holt’s Body Shop for a report of a two vehicle MVA. No injuries were reported.

At 4:03 Kosciusko Police, MedStat EMS and City Fire were dispatched to the 500 block of Moore Street. Emergency personnel were dispatched for a “male stuck in a tree with a power saw”. At 5:09 Kosciusko City Fire notified dispatch that the subject was removed from the tree.

At 4:40 pm Kosciusko Police were called to south Madison Street. The caller said they saw someone leave a dark backpack between the buildings. Officers arrived and found no threat. At 4:51 pm dispatch were notified that the juveniles that left the backpack were back.

At 5:46 pm Kosciusko Police, MedStat EMS along with City Fire responded to a report of a two vehicle MVA near the 900 block of highway 12 East. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and notified dispatch that one lane of traffic was blocked. MedStat was called for a patient complaining of chest pain.

At 9:48 pm Kosciusko Police and City Fire were dispatched to a residence on the 700 block of Arrowhead Drive for the smell of gas.
