At 11:47 am Attala Deputies were called to Attala Road 4171 for a report of a vehicle that ran in to a downed tree. Deputies arrived on scene and found that the vehicle ran off the road to miss the downed tree. They told deputies they did not need any report.
At 3:20 pm Kosciusko Police and City Fire were dispatched to the 100 block of West Haven Drive for a report of a gas leak. The caller said they could hear it coming from behind the stove. Firefighters cut off the gas and called for Atmos to come to the location.
At 7:25 pm Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, The Mississippi Highway Patrol, McCool Volunteers along with Attala Fire Central Station responded to a report of a one vehicle MVA. The caller said it was located on highway 12 east near McCool. Units arrived on scene and canceled responding units. Emergency personnel advised that the vehicle was out of the ditch and no injuries were reported.
