At 6:18 am Attala Deputies along with Attala Fire responded to a report one vehicle MVA on the Natchez Trace. Units arrived on scene to find the vehicle down an embankment. Attala Deputies reported that the vehicle had been abandoned.
At 6:45 am Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS, Attala Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a report of a one vehicle MVA on Highway 35 north at Highway 440. Kosciusko City Fire was dispatched to cover for Attala Fire. The caller said the vehicle was on fire but everyone was out of the vehicle.
At 4:07 pm Attala Deputies, Providence, Zama & Ethel Volunteers along with Attala Fire Central were dispatched to a report of a house trailer fire on Attala Road 5005. A second call came in informing responding units that a second home was in danger. Firefighters responding to the call were able to see smoke from the microwave tower on highway 19. When emergency personnel arrived on scene the structure was completely on the ground.
