At 11:19 am Attala Deputies were called to Helping Hands for a report of a minor auto accident. The caller said there were no injuries they simply needed a report.
At 4:17 pm Attala Deputies, The Mississippi Highway Patrol, MedStat EMS, Ethel Volunteers along with Attala Fire and Rescue responded to highway 12 east near Dollar General in Ethel. The caller said that a car crashed into a tree.Emergency personnel arrived on scene to find the car with heavy damage and the occupants out of the vehicle.MedStat transported on patient to Baptist-Attala for medical treatment. The extent of their injuries are not known.The Mississippi Highway Patrol will be in charge of the investigation.
At 7:34 pm Kosciusko Police and City Fire were called to the 300 block of Hammond Circle for the smell of gas. Atmos was called after firefights found that the gas meter was leaking after being hit by a basketball.
At 9:19 pm Attala Deputies, MedStat EMS along with Attala Fire and Rescue responded to Attala Road 4202 for a report of a one vehicle MVA. The caller said the driver attempted to avoid hitting a dog and lost control.
