At 9:21 am Kosciusko Police were notified of a Ford Fusion traveling north on North Wells Street. The caller said there was an infant laying on the front seat.

At 5:43 pm Sallis Volunteers along with Attala Fire responded to a report of a woods fire on highway 12 west. The caller said there were multiple fires approximately 1/4 mile apart located about 3 miles from Durant.
