At 12:57 pm Kosciusko Police and Animal Control were called to Fred’s Dollar Store. The caller said there was a large snake at the front door.
At 3:29 pm Attala Deputies and Attala Fire responded to a report of an 18 wheeler fire on highway 19 south near Attala Road 5053. While en-route dispatch was advised that they had put the fire out with an extinguisher. Firefighters continued on to the scene to check the vehicle. No injuries were reported and firefighters cleared the scene at 3:58 pm.
