At 11:43 am Attala Deputies along with Attala Fire responded to a report of a utility pole fire with a grass and woods fire on the 1000 block of highway 19 south. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and reported that there was no fire but there was melted dripping coming from the transformer. Dispatch notified the power company to repair the damaged unit.
