At 11:42 am Attala Deputies along with Attala Fire responded to a report of what was reported and dispatched as an 18 wheeler fire. Units arrived on scene to find the big rig broke down in the east bound lane. Emergency personnel found that there was in fact no fire and the 18 wheeler had broke the brake lines on the trailer. The driver was able to patch the line enough to make it to a shop for repairs. No injuries were reported. All units cleared at 12:03 pm.
At 12:33 pm Kosciusko Police and City Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a two vehicle MVA on Autumn Ridge Drive near the medic clinic. No injuries were reported.
